Today is one of the two days I'll have at home this week and it was a very full day.  The highlights:
* stepping over dead, dried out worms stuck on my driveway, courtesy of Julia who went digging for worms yesterday
* immunizations and a worm pill for the dog

The thought of going to Toronto to do the OSCE's still seems a bit surreal.  The busyness of Life crowds out thoughts of hotels and flights and practice exams, and when Life winds down at the end of the day I'm spent.  Crack open a 5 lb textbook or read about obstetrical emergencies?  Um, no thanks ( Read more... )

It was a busy day with back-to-back appointments that sometimes overlapped, and all of us going in different directions.   Even at work I had one foot in home court, texting Jack directions to paperwork he needed, juggling my schedule with Jack's, making doctor's appointments, calling for information about registration for kids' Spring and Summer ( Read more... )

I have felt pulled in a million directions all day today and I'm at the point now that I don't want to hear my children speak.  I just cannot multi-task anymore today.

Nothing bad happened today, it was just busy.

Last night, at dusk, our local library sponsored an outdoor movie, put on by freshaircinema.ca   They had an 800 square foot inflatable movie screen, 4000 watts of surround sound, and a baseball diamond full of people sitting in folding lawn chairs ( Read more... )
